About StockInvestor

What it is

StockInvestor is a portfolio tracker built for individual investors on the Colombo Stock Exchange. You record your trades, dividends and corporate actions; it keeps your holdings, income and returns correct.

How the numbers are worked out

Average cost includes brokerage and other charges, and is restated whenever a bonus issue, rights issue or split changes your quantity.

Realised gain is measured against that average cost when you sell. XIRR gives your annualised return, taking the timing of every deposit and withdrawal into account.

Who is behind it

StockInvestor is built and run by Nirvan Solutions Pvt Ltd (www.nirvansolutions.com), a Sri Lankan software development company. Its owner and director is a stock market investor himself, and wanted a tracker that gets corporate actions right.
